the old spelling of Alice as Alles on the baptism record, though no
record of a birth certificate at Hereford Registry Office. (Alice's
parents were James WILLIAMS & Mary GORDON) (It is understood Charles
& Alice fell out with the MUNKLEY family and wished to disassociate
themselves from the family and changed the spelling of their surname to
MONKLEY. However his birth certificate states MONKLEY which puts a lot
of doubt on the falling out story) |

of property throughout Herefordshire. On a visit to Little Birch chapel
(next door to what was Oswald her brothers house - Chapel House). during
the early 1970's she discovered unkempt flower beds either side the path
and then pain to have them concreted in. As part of her will she also
donated some money to the chapel which they used to build a porch. |
